How to Make More Money from Your Web Site

Tip #5: Get Other Sites to Link to Your Site
getting other web sites to link to your site will help you in two different ways. First, there is the direct benefit that people visiting those other sites will click on links leading to your site, where you can sell them your product or service.
The second benefit is that those links will help your site’s ranking in search engines like Google. If there are many high-quality links to a page in your site, search engines sees it as more important. High-quality links are on pages with content that is relevant to your site, and use the keywords for the page in your site to which you are linking as the link text i.e. <a href=”www. bitmojo.com/public-golf-course.htm”>Public Golf Course</a>.
Try getting links from any of the following:
» Associations » Vendors, resellers and customers » Complementary businesses » Blogs » Articles and publications
To see a list of pages that link to your site, type “link:” into Google followed by your web site address i.e. entering “link:www.bitmojo.com” will show links to the BitMojo web site.
